Can not view my attachments; screen comes up saying, “URL server not found.” Have your book and recently deleted cookies/history/temp files to improve speed performance. Plus, cleaned disk & defragmented disks. Did this cause this problem? What can I do to correct this link and view attachments etc.?

Also, trying to clean up my F drive; no success via Vista instructions. Any suggestions?

Would appreciate your assistance; your book does not deal with these topics completely.

Thank You, Vince (vlgmich@comcast.net)Cry

Dear Vince,

“URL server not found” means that the website you seek can't be opened.  It is either that the address you have been given (or typed in) is not an active website or that you do not have a connection to the Internet.  To test the latter issue – if you can visit cnn.com, then you have a connection to the Internet that is working fine.  Then it is either that the website address is incorrect or the website is not functioning.  Nothing on the computer needs to be defragmented or cleaned.

Do you want to send me the address that you are trying to access and I'll let you know if I can open the site

Unless there is a compelling reason to clean your F: drive (i.e. somthing isn't functioning properly and that is the cause), I would just leave it be.

Keep in touch. Let me know how things are going.

Best,

Abby
