Is there a way of sending more than one photo(say 3 or 4)as an attachment without sending an entire photo file?

Absolutely. Follow the steps to attache one photo, then repeat those same steps to attach the second, then again to attach the third. The only reason that you might have trouble attaching multiple photos is they are too large (more than 1MB or so in size) to send over your Internet connection. Try sending three and let me know how it goes.
