Hi Abby,

I enjoyed talking to you at your Old Lyme book talk recently.

I have a huge challenge.  I recently had a Palm Zire 71 which I had synced to Palm desktop for contacts and photos and to Yahoo for the calendar. I lost it.

I now have purchased a used Palm Tungsten E  that was not working. I bought a new battery, took the Palm apart, snipped the wires, installed and soldered in the battery, charged it and now it works fine.   But….syncing it the way I want is a huge problem. I want to Intellisync to Yahoo Calendar but also to  Palm desktop to install photos from my computer and syn up the contacts.  ( I did import contacts from Outlook Excel sheet. They show by first name and I cannot figure out how to show by last name.)   Some of the conduit choices were grayed out and I could not sync them.  Once I had the calendar synced to Yahoo but then I experimented with the Palm desktop and now it will not work again no matter what I do. I even downloaded a trial of  Conduit Buddy to help with the situation. I guess I do not fully understand what I am doing so I cannot get to the spot where it works properly.  Right now it appears that the calendar is in sync with the Outlook Calendar.  I tried to Google help for the situation but I seem to get into deeper trouble.  How can I find help for this situation? Should I uninstall all Palm and Yahoo Intellisync and start over? Is there anywhere I can go to get help?  I really like to understand what I am doing and I enjoy the challenge. Thanks for any help you can give me.
